we're going to have charoset cupcakes.
For tonight's seder I made Big Martha's mashed potatoes, and when I Googled the recipe I came upon not only a treasure trove of gorgeous Martha Passover fabulousness, I also discovered that when Martha made Big Martha's mashed potatoes on her television show, her guest was Snoop Dogg. And it is too good not to share. (The potatoes AND the Snoop Dogg.)
And then I found this, which is only for the MOST demented Paul McCartney fans, of which I used to think I was one, until I saw this, particularly the part where he turns oven mitt into a hand puppet, and now I have to say, I'm just not so sure. He almost gets me back when he says the potatoes are "floofy."
For sitting through that, here is your prize (special for Jeff Z., Heather Z., and my Summer.)
love the prize - it's one of Annie's (and my) all time favorites!

Poor Paul just can't follow The Snoop. Paarrrkayyy! Very funny. I admit I didn't watch the whole Paul video and still collected the prize, which I loved. Thank you.

I will admit I often find Snoop Dogg to be a bit off-putting. But he was quite endearing in this.
I loved the prize...makes me want to add a little grapevine move into my routine right here in the living room. :)
I am making charoset tonight. My children will taste it, and not care for it. Maybe next year I'll try the cupcakes, too!

Update on the Z's charoset:
1 child loved it, 1 child tolerated it, 1 child disliked it. Par for the course here.
Also, Heather made matzo ball soup and...1 child loved it, 1 child tolerated it, and 1 child disliked it. But hey - charoset and matzo ball soup made by a non-Jew has got to count for something, yes?
Next year in Jerusalem - or maybe [your town], where we can share our new-found cooking talents.
