We drove out to Clifden for the annual Connemara Pony Show. Horsey scene, lots of wellies and jodphurs. Vendors lined the streets of town hawking various junk of the junkiest Made-in-China variety. Inside the fairgrounds there were chip wagons and ice cream trucks.
Off to the side, in a small wooden lean-to, the fabulous Mulkerrin Brothers--winners of the All-Ireland talent show--kept us clapping and stomping our feet. This cutie with the banjo can dance like nobody's business.
Oscar didn't mind the sprinkles.
Maybe that's because he knows what they say in Hawaii: No rain, no rainbows!
