Got a call from a nurse re: Charlie's surgery. No vaccines or aspirin or Ibuprofen for two weeks prior; no eating after midnight; clear liquids until two hours prior. She told me the surgery is scheduled to last FIVE HOURS. Meanwhile, guess what, the angry bulge has appeared for a farewell performance. Charlie's on antibiotics.

woah, he's having surgery soon-soon? eek! i also got those instructions for my surgery in december...i'm not looking forward to two weeks without advil.
i'll be home the weekend of nov 6th. is that surgery-time, or can i see you? holy crap oscar will be 11 months on sunday! how is this possible? i need to see him. yup.

Wow. When is the surgery scheduled for? Can we get a post about exactly what's going to be happening during this surgery? I hope you guys are well. I miss you all lots and am desperately looking at tickets to come home for Christmas! Hopefully I'll see you all then. Give the kids hugs for me.
