Just as in October we welcome back the Mallomars, now it is time for the freezer to be full of those plastic sleeves of brightly colored sugary deliciousness: Fla-Vor-Ice, or, if you're from New Jersey like me, Foxy Pops.
Mmmmmmmmmm. Refreshing.

Foxy Pops?
I am unaware of such a name, or it's been wiped clean from my memory. I totally know and remember Fla-Vor-Ice, though.
You must have grown up in NJ on the OTHER side of White Oak Ridge Road - the Foxy Pops side.

Jeff Z., shut up, you don't remember eating Foxy Pops at Gero Park while we watched our little brothers' Little League games? Or was that hot chocolate. Maybe I call them Foxy Pops because my mom is from Union. Is that possible?

No, your Mom from Union was of the Good Humor man comes down your block every day generation. However our side of White Oak Ridge Rd. was definitely the Foxy side.

No, I'm with Jeff -- they were Flav-or-ice on my side of White Oak . . . blue and purple were the best!
