I used to have this theory that there was a conspiracy at K-Mart, so that whenever I went there to buy diapers, they were out of whatever size my baby was wearing.
But guess what? There is a new, more insidious diaper conspiracy, one that is designed specifically to make you spend more money. Has anyone else noticed this? Huggies and Pampers seem to have stopped making their non-premium diapers in size 2. You have to buy the pricey Swaddlers or UltraCare or whatever the hell they're called, instead of Baby Dry or Baby Shaped or whatever they're called, in sizes N, 1, and 2. Then when your baby hits size 3 you are permitted to choose diapers that are not so thick you can't even tell if he's peed or not. DUDE. I'm not pleased.
[UPDATE 5.18.09: They have size 2 BabyDry at my fahncy grocery store.]
I hate glitches like that. Of course, I've given up and now just buy Walm@rt brand. Klassy.

I’m sorry you can’t find Pampers Baby Dry diapers – I promise, it’s not a conspiracy. I actually work for Pampers and would love to help! You can locate stores to buy online or in person through the following link http://www.pampers.com/en_US/proddetail/id/900804/productName/Baby-Dry%20Diapers/buyitnow/buyitnow. If you want to purchase at a store in your area, search by zip code on the right. I hope this helps…until the next conspiracy hits! Or BTW, very impressed with your winnings on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire! Thx, Dee.

Of course, I'm a new mom, so they are playing right into my "wouldn't you want the very best for your kid?" issues by roping me in with the expensive ones. I'm such a pushover!
