It's our tenth wedding anniversary and Summer's seventh birthday. We had Summer's luau and then my mom and John gave us a gift certificate to Papa Razzi and watched all three kids for us. I had something called a cucumber martini, which I don't particularly recommend. I got a little tiny bit teary talking with Jeff about all of the crap we went through to have these three (thank God healthy) children. But then there was fried calamari.
When we got home our new solar Chinese lanterns were glowing in our crabapple tree and Charlie was--and is--still awake watching Kung Fu Panda.
I would not trade any of the last ten years, not one single minute.
Wow! Really...TEN years? Happy tenth anniversary! What a lovely milestone. I'm glad that you and Jeff had a chance to celebrate together.

Summer ought to be about the right age to babysit for Shaina's kids.
