Seller has yet to respond. We gave them 48 hours. Realtor Peggy says the septic system is from 1962. Title V inspection is Thursday. A septic mound is a dealbreaker for moi.
In fact, I have been having buyer's remorse all day. Peggy says this is normal. Alicia is having anxiety dreams.
And yet... it's so purty.
Giant ugly bunker-type septic mound should be a dealbreaker. But if the yard isn't tiny, they can probably make it not horrible.
We did a new septic a while back, and there's now a hill-ish thing in the backyard, but it's nothing you'd drive by and glare at. (There is a house nearby with a terrible front yard septic, they must be living underground practically.)
